As an individual we want our space to look different and unique. We strive with color combinations, contrasts, furniture palette etc. But if given a thought, single color can bring a lot of difference to a space then what hundred of colors could have bought. Monochromatic palette has to do with texture, tones, shades and lighting. To make a space look different we can always play with monochrome and minimalism. Adding modern furniture gives a contemporary look where in if we add vintage furniture collection it give a taste of royalty.

Texture and Patterns are key to a beautiful monochromatic space which avoids making monochrome monotonous. A texture can appear light or dark even when created from same color, pillows, carpets, blankets, curtains, furniture, pottery are beautiful ways of creating monochromatic textures. Using light and dark shades of one color creates harmony and balance in a room and also works as a good background for artworks to shine.

Monochromatic spaces also works as breaking the monochrome. This artworks is based on the same concept where in the pink monochrome breaks with white pink pattern carpet and an artwork kept beside. Every element in the art work is loose and unfixed. Color palette is balance and the elements are kept freely. This makes harmony and balance between the two.
