Immoratls of meluha is the first book of the writer Amish tripathi. He was an iit iim student who after doing job in bank decided to go into writing. Amish is always fascinated by the hindu mythology. And has a great knowledge of the same. Thus he decided to write a novel on something that is more relatable to the Audience and he find himself writing this story.
Book
The book is about Shiva, first part of the trilogy. we all have heard of him as a god, but this book shows him as a man who later becomes god by his deeds. This book stand out from other books on mythology as the author attempts to add and explain scientific phenomenon that has been put in the story.
Plot
Shiva who lives in the tibet with his tribe. with the entry of Nandi the story started as he offers him and his tribe to come to meluha to live. The story revolves around Shiva whose throat after drinking the meluha's immortal drink turned to blue. His journey of becoming god from a simple tribe man starts from here. The fight between suryanshi and chandravanshi increased with time and the blue throat person was there only way to win the war. But who is exactly the evil and what is the motive of the Shiva coming to their land and reasons for his throat only turning to blue.
My experience
While reading the book it gives me a new look towards the Indian mythology. The style of story telling and writing gives me some kind of sci fi movie. For the people who love fiction this is a must read book. It will make you fall in love with Indian Mythology.
