Delhi literature festival

Delhi has a fascinating history of cultural heritage and variety of literature. These can be seen in many festivals that occur in Delhi every year during October to February. One of the such event is Delhi Literature Festival (DLF). The event started in 2013 with the aim to promote culture , literature and art. The event includes book reading, workshops, panel discussion, book launch, live performance, poetry, music, theater etc. Renowned authors, poets and journalist take active participate with young writers. Often political and government officials who shows great interest in literature can be seen.
DLF gives a great opportunity for the people who have imagination, creativity and want to exchange ideas. It takes place every year around February at Delhi Haat where people enjoy the event in sunny afternoon of winters and cold breezes in evening. With the different cuisines and handicraft stalls people enjoy their time.
Many famous speakers comes to attend this festival in which some of them are award wining writers. Ashok Vajpayi and Munnavar Rana are the receiver of Sahitya Academy, Dr. Kumar Vishwas, Navtez Sarna are few names who are the actively participant in the festivals in all these 6 years.This is a very good chance for the people who wants to gain acknowledgement or wants to get reviews.
This festival is also get supported by the Delhi Government and inaugrated by the Manish Sisodia. Public and private companies comes and promote literature with being socially responsible.
