A Passage To Sustainable Space Design

Traditionally space design was seen through one perspective that focuses on fashion, luxury and refinement in small environment which somewhere ignored the concept of energy saving, eco-friendly, emission reducing, environmental damage etc. But now Space Design has taken a new turn towards environmental responsibility. Requirements of both Designers and Clients have been shifted to amalgamation of fashion, luxury with healthy and sustainable environment to live work and play.


It is essential to understand the concept of up-cycling and recycling in order to maximize the use of healthy materials for installing a space design. We need to understand the difference between green and sustainable design where green design stands for health, safety and welfare of people and sustainable design is a global approach towards the planet.
To achieve the goal of sustainable design on a whole, it is necessary to have a holistic approach where the materials has minimum negative impacts and maximizing the positive impacts onto the environment and occupants.
