Munich, the most populated city in the German state of Bavaria, is the third largest city in Germany. Its diverse culture and versatility it offers in fields of art, technology, education and innovation makes it a popular tourist destination.

The Englische Garten (“English Garden”), one of the largest urban parks in the world, has a lot to offer to the citizens of Munich as well as tourists. The 78 km long network of paths is perfect for cyclists/ joggers to spend their time. Also, the huge green patches cater to the various interests of people to spend their leisure time for recreation.

Tegernsee is a town located on the shore of Lake Tegernsee and is surrounded by the Bavarian Alps. It has tiny cafes and is surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna. This lake offers wonderful boating experiences while enjoying the surreal view. It also offers a range of adventure sports both on land and water.

The central part of the city, Marienplatz which is the new and old town hall, is another famous tourist spot because of its neo gothic architecture and the buzzing shopping streets.

For all the automobile lovers, the BMW Museum offers a fascinating presentation of the company, brand and BMW product history. About 125 of the brand's most valuable and attractive automobiles, motorcycles and engines are displayed in this building, spanning an area of 5,000 m². Firsthand experience of the looks and feels of the car models is what makes this museum so popular.

The Herrenchiemsee Royal Palace is one of the largest royal palaces in Europe and has a great history attached to it. It’s expansive landscaped garden and museum is a must see.






Apart from the mentioned places, Munich is known for its annual Oktoberfest which is a huge attraction for tourists. People from all over the world travel to be a part of the same. Munich also has some exquisite bakeries which is an absolute delight for all foodies. There is also a lot of street art and music that one gets to witness while walking around the city.
