Lake View, Udaipur.

Along with the Sprakling Lake Pichola, the ochre, little scarlet and purple ridges of the wooded Aravalli Hills prolonging in every direction, Udaipur has a romance, a soothe of setting unmatched in Rajasthan and plausibly all over in India. Amazing palaces, havelies, temples, and countless tappered, crooked, timeless streets add on to the city’s natural charms. As a visitor there is the silence of boat rides on the lake, the hustle bustle and colour of old yet not feable bazaars, a lively culture, the quaint old-world feel of its awe-struck hotels, xyz number of tempting shops and few lovely countryside to explore on wheels, feet, motors or horseback.

Udaipur has been tagged as ‘the most romantic spot on the continent of India’ in 1829 by Colonel James Tod, the East India Company’s first political agent in the region.

The City is know by few names, which go like:

"City of Lakes"

"Kashmir of Rajasthan"

"Venice of the East"

and ofcourse, one of the "The Golden City of India", beside Jaisalmer.

Here's a little verse composition for the city :

You know, You never know,

When,

Where,

Why,

And What can bring a sense of life to your life.

Sometimes, A city can do so,

Maybe,

The pattern of flowing river,

A Joyful flight of ducklings

Or the Golden of the Sunset.

Wind blowing from right to my left,

Heritage of the Royals,

Flap Flap of little Birds,

This struggle of waves,

Trying,

Trying to touch my feet,

Then running back,

Back to be the part of the flowing pattern,

And sound of water against rocks.

Now, that the wind is stronger,

It has enough courage to play with my cheap earrings.

And I let it be,

Allowing the breeze to flirt with my skin.

Surprisingly, I am more fascinated by water

than hills of this sight.

The motor boat resting diagonal to me,

Causing no harm to the vibe,

The fragrance of sandal still lingers from my duppata,

And I have no wishes to make,

Because in this moment,

Life has Life in it.

The Golden Aura of this Royal city is Vulnerable and Whine.
