why?

Today was a very unusual day. I was at Connaught Place, Delhi. At a traffic signal, a big car (B) driver hit a small car (S) because the (S) car driver did not want to jump the red light but the (B) car one wanted too. The (S) car was ahead of the (B) car. The (B) car had 4 wealthy guys. They got angry on the (S) car driver. He was a cab driver. They got out of their car and started to beat him in the middle of the road. He tried to take the photograph of the (B) car but he was not able to (I guess). He was again beaten up for this. His car was pushed aside by the (B) car and the wealthy ones ran away. This was a disturbing site. A really disturbing one. The human race is a shame. Why are the weaker beaten up always? Why are the weaker ones at fault always? Why nobody punishes the actual culprit? Why do we SUPPRESS the weak?
